I loved this book! This is the kind of book I have been thinking for a long time that someone should write. It just lays it out there simply but not simplistically. It explains all those things so many of us have heard and learned over the years but weren't maybe quite sure how to apply them. Also, and probably most importantly, I think it will speak to people who have been saying things like "when I get my act together, then I can go back to church." So many people feel they aren't good enough. Part of that is the fault of Christians because we are too much like Liz and put up a brave front like life is always a bowl of cherries. But at any rate, you have shown folks they have permission to come before God warts and all and take that first big step to a relationship with him. I read it in three sittings, but I think I am going to go back through and re-read slowly and thoughtfully. Thanks for writing this. Rise Ruhl, Maryland |

I got to read your book last night. It was incredible. I loved the way you incorporated the Bible with everyday living and explaining how the verses in it pertain to everyone, everyday. It was quite eye-opening. I know I learned from it, and I'm sure others will as well.
