The Right to God
for everyday people

Chapter 1: The Right to God

The realization came over me with such impact, it stopped me in my tracks. Physically, I kept moving.
But mentally, I had shifted to another place.
Let me be clear. I didn't have a vision. No angel walked up and introduced himself. Yet there's no
question I felt a more powerful and peaceful presence than I'd ever felt before. For the first time in my
life, I felt the presence of God.
You might think I'd have all kinds of questions --why my mother died, why my life turned out like it did,
why our people are at war. Yet, in that moment, all the questions and doubts faded into the background,
and I asked only one thing: "Why me, Lord?"
Why me, of all people? I prayed, but not as much as I could. I went to church, but not as much as I
should.
That's when the realization hit me as clearly and boldly as if it was a neon sign flashing in my brain: You
have the right to God.
That moment, any thought that I wasn't good enough for God faded away. ---Ron

If you're like most people, you hear, "You have the right to God," and you nod your head, mumble, "Yes, I
know," and go back to eating your breakfast or reading your emails. So we're going to ask you to pause
and think about it for a moment. You have the right to God
.
The Right to God
The Right to God exposes the raw beauty of a
hugely overlooked, basic Christian principle,
and opens the door to a deeper spiritual walk
for all people. God is for everyone, and that
means: You have the right to God and
everything that walk encompasses.
The Right to God is a new way to see
relationship with God, no matter who you are
or where you start.

From The Right to God, for everyday people
Religion ---finding God--- doesn't have to be stressful, and it doesn't have to be complicated.

God can't be shocked, and God's love isn't for sale.

For all the relationships potentially damaged by greed, the most painful is the one with God…

Live in an attitude of love toward God and others, and it can't help but grow in your heart and your
life.

Even when God answers simple prayers, the power of it is eye-opening. You, and only you, become
aware that "God did this," and that changes you… Something makes you realize, God does care
about you.
